1. Scope and effective date
This Privacy Policy applies to Table & Town version 1.0.0, an Android application published by UTAH EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE. It explains the app's offline design, the limited non-personal settings stored on the device, and the choices available to the user. The policy is effective July 30, 2026. Table & Town is an original educational field guide and is not an aid application, school account, donation portal, emergency service, or case-management system.
2. No account or identity profile
Table & Town does not provide registration, login, membership, public profiles, usernames, passwords, or identity verification. The app does not ask for a legal name, email address, phone number, date of birth, school, employer, household details, government identifier, or account credential. Because there is no account, the publisher cannot look up activity by a user identity.
3. Offline operation and no Internet permission
The app's guide, images, Action Deck, checklists, Source Shelf, About page, and Privacy Center are packaged inside the installed application. The Android manifest does not request INTERNET permission, so Table & Town cannot directly connect to a server, upload app activity, call an API, synchronize data, or receive remote content. Source URLs are citations. If a user deliberately opens or copies one into another app, that external app and destination operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
4. Local values the app stores
Table & Town stores only limited app-state values in Android private preferences: identifiers of field-guide modules marked explored, identifiers selected for the Local Lift Board, the current Action Deck position, and optional completion flags for the generic Event Readiness checklist. These identifiers and flags describe navigation or checklist state only. They do not contain names, notes, messages, household circumstances, food-assistance status, precise locations, contact details, or user-written content.
5. Information the app does not collect
The app has no free-text fields, forms, surveys, uploads, chat, comments, contact form, eligibility questionnaire, donation flow, or attendance registry. It does not collect personal information, sensitive personal information, financial information, health information, school records, dietary details, precise or approximate location, photographs, audio, files, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity. Users should not treat the Local Lift Board as a place to record information about another person.
6. Permissions and device access
Table & Town requests no camera, microphone, contacts, location, nearby-device, storage, photos, media, notification, phone, SMS, calendar, biometric, health, body-sensor, or activity-recognition permission. It does not request an advertising identifier. Normal Android platform components may expose basic operating-system functions needed to display and run an installed app, but Table & Town does not use those functions to collect or transmit user data.
7. No advertising, analytics, or tracking
The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, attribution SDK, crash-reporting SDK, tracking pixel, social SDK, payment SDK, or cloud database. It does not serve personalized or contextual ads, build an audience profile, measure behavior across other apps or sites, sell engagement data, or use notifications, streaks, scores, rankings, or targeted prompts to pressure continued use.
8. Local storage and isolation
The limited IDs, deck position, and checklist flags are stored in the app's private storage area using Android preferences. Other ordinary apps cannot read that area through normal Android access controls. Table & Town does not create public files, shared documents, exported databases, contact lists, or media containing app activity. Device security, operating-system integrity, malware protection, lock-screen configuration, and physical control of the device remain the user's responsibility.
9. Retention
Local app-state values remain on the device until the user clears them inside Table & Town, clears the app's storage through Android settings, or uninstalls the app. The publisher does not set a server retention period because no Table & Town server receives the values. A device operating system may preserve app files until its own deletion process finishes, subject to the platform and storage hardware.
10. Erase local activity
The Privacy Center provides an erase action that clears explored-module IDs, Local Lift Board IDs, Action Deck position, and Event Readiness completion flags from the app's private preferences. Android's Clear storage control and uninstalling the app are additional ways to remove the local state. Erasure cannot delete information a user independently copied, photographed, or entered into another application.
11. Backup and device transfer
Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Table & Town in the application configuration. The app does not intentionally send its preferences to a publisher account or cloud service. Platform behavior outside the app can vary by device manufacturer, operating-system build, administrative policy, backup tool, or a user with advanced device access; the publisher does not control those external systems.
12. Sharing, sale, and disclosure
Because the app does not collect or receive user data, the publisher does not sell, rent, share, or disclose Table & Town user data to advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, social networks, or other third parties. No personal data is used for cross-context behavioral advertising. The app has no server-side dataset from which it could respond with an individual activity history.
13. Children and youth
Table & Town is designed as an adult community-action planning guide and does not provide child accounts, youth messaging, public profiles, social features, or school-record functions. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Adults should not use the app to create informal records about a child, student, household, meal account, assistance status, disability, dietary need, or school experience.
14. Source Shelf and external services
The Source Shelf identifies public references with a title, purpose, URL, and review date so readers can distinguish sourced background from original educational modules. A listing is not an endorsement or guarantee of accuracy, availability, eligibility, safety, or current status. Leaving Table & Town for a browser, app store, email client, phone service, or other external service places the interaction outside this policy and may allow that service to collect information under its own policy.
15. Educational, safety, and service boundaries
Table & Town provides general educational prompts, not medical, mental-health, nutrition, allergen, food-handler, legal, financial, tax, benefits, fundraising, accessibility-certification, emergency, or professional advice. It does not determine eligibility, provide meals, process donations, operate school accounts, arrange transport, or guarantee a resource. Users and organizers must verify current local rules, responsible authorities, qualified guidance, conditions, and permissions. For an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service rather than relying on the app.
16. Security and incident limits
The privacy design reduces risk by omitting accounts, network access, free-text input, sensitive permissions, and third-party SDKs. No software or device can be guaranteed absolutely secure. If the device is compromised, unlocked, administered by another party, modified, backed up by external tools, or inspected with advanced access, local app state may be exposed. Keeping Android updated and using an appropriate device lock can reduce device-level risk.
17. Policy changes and version review
A future release may revise this policy when app behavior, legal requirements, or publisher practices change. Any material new collection, permission, network feature, advertising feature, account function, or third-party SDK would require a new technical and policy review before release. The policy bundled with the installed version describes that version. Users should review the effective date and the public policy associated with the exact release they install.

The app itself does not contain a contact form, accept messages, or transmit support requests. The email address was published on the organization's official website and must remain under publisher control for this release.
